Zhang Jian Guo was born in 1972 and graduated from the Arts Faculty of Huaiyin Teachers University. The main theme of his paintings and calligraphies is the natural landscape, while flowers, birds and people are also covered. His works are characterised by a natural feeling and consciousness of environmental protection.

Zhang’s masterpieces include “High Mountain and Flowing Water”, “The Vegetable Garden In Memory”and “Beating Butterfly” which had gained numerous awards.

His works had been displayed in national exhibitions, included in key arts publications, collected by galleries and individuals in China and overseas. On nine occasions, he was granted gold, silver, first, second and excellent prizes respectively.

張建國於1972年出生，淮陰師專美術系畢業。自幼即愛畫畫，主攻山水，兼畫花鳥、人物。他的作品風格獨特，崇尚自然色彩及環保意識，被評為全國優秀書畫園丁。

他的作品先後在全國展覽及入編多次，並榮獲金、銀、一、二、優秀獎9次。他的獲獎作品包括《高山流水》、《山居圖》、《記憶中的菜園》、《拍蝶圖》、《心種一片林》等。多幅作品被藝術館、單位、港、台、日、意及全國各地人士收藏。

作品及傳略入編《中國旅遊藝術大典》、《20世紀國際文化大系－綜合卷2》、《中國當代書畫名家經典》、《當代書畫藝術家佳作彙賞》、《世界優秀專家人才名典》、《世界名人錄》等多部典籍。
